The intellectual challenge of medicine and a desire to have contact with people influenced Dr. Gabriele Villarreal to choose a career in internal medicine. A caring and thorough physician, Dr. Villarreal values the opportunity to educate her patients and provide them with individualized care. In addition to the broad spectrum of responsibilities inherent in her internal medicine practice, she is especially interested in women’s health and diabetes.

A native of Switzerland, Dr. Villarreal is married and has two children. When time permits, she enjoys tennis, running, crafts, needlepoint, stitching, and spending time with her family.
