Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Hwang received her B.S. in Chemistry at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her medical degree at University of Texas, San Antonio. She came to Los Angeles for her residency at UCLA. Dr. Hwang is committed to providing high quality comprehensive and preventative care. She enjoys Family Practice because of the close relationships that are formed with patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hwang enjoys playing sports, especially soccer and snowboarding, traveling, and cooking.
