Dr. Hasan was raised in Southern California since she was two years old. She received her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and completed a master’s degree in learning disabilities and literacy at the University of Michigan.

She enjoys volunteering at clinics in underserved areas and is a public speaker on preventative health care and other issues.

In her spare time, she enjoys working out, sports, and going to the beach. She also enjoys attending Indian musical and dance performances. She has a diverse background, having played the flute for seven years and participated in orchestra in the past. She has learned various ethnic dances from ballet to modern jazz and Polynesian dance.

Dr. Hasan believes in preventative and holistic medicine, and approaching her patients as a person, not an illness.
